2017 Plot Twist

I've been itching to write here and so I am here. I looked for my laptop in the office despite of there is no work today. My heart is so full and it will burst with different emotions anytime like now, my emotions changed again. I told you in my last blog that I feel like 2017 has been so bad for me but I realized that I should not base things on the circumstances that are happening around me. So, I moved forward with a mindset of Christ's sufficiency. Before the year ends, the Lord has allowed me to get up early and hike with some friends at Montalban Rizal, Philippines. I've always wanted to go but the last time I was suppose to go, my mom got sick. This time, I asked her if she would allow me and she said, yes, quickly. I was at peace even though honestly I do not want to go because I do not know everyone. But, I had the motivation to buy mountaineering gears to a God-led store. I was just strolling in the mall while waiting for a friend and for the first time in 24...

If 2018 Is My Last Year

2017 has been a so-so year. I don't even remember big things and good things that happened to me this year, for one, because I have been steady this year. This year didn't become anything extraordinary if I can say that. Yes, God has been faithful this year, the Lord has sustained me financially in the ministry knowing that He is the Great Provider but the things that I want, marriage in particular, is not at bay and is not even existent. If this 2018 is my last year, I would want it to be about Jesus.Year after year, that has been my goal but I would stumble some time along the way. It feels like I never had a clean year. I would always be sidetracked because of distractions and sins. But, as I heard how missionaries abroad live by faith, I felt like wiping everything I wrote in my 2018 plans and just put, if 2018 is my last year, I would want to just love Jesus and be found in Him. This world offers so many things, savings and investments so big that after all doesn'...

So Far

This is me now.  I want to look to the light and go back to an intimate relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ. Revelation 2 says look from where you have fallen and go back to what you've done from the start. Only Jesus. Stand amazed before Him. Humility. These are some of the things I am learning in the first half of 2017. Step it up.  Walk with people not isolate yourself because it will not do you good. You may have your own time but it will pay off to spend time with people to love them. Learn to give generously because everything comes from the Lord. It's not how much you give but how much you leave for yourself. Pray more. Everything should be prayed about. Pray with one another.  Enjoy little things.  Run-of-the-mill Manage your time. So you can sleep more. Mission Trip 2016 Photos

Phone Photos in Paragraphs

I’ve seen the hue I would love forever I want to marry the other, But I surrender, Because You know better. This was taken in my run that week in the park near our home, I was in the beginning of my run and the sun is high up but no worries for my tan burn. My fruitful run last week. Looped in the park twice, looped in the jogger's lane a lot of times. That's why it looks like that. I should run in a letter M next time. HAHA. Running has been my buddy these past few weeks as I am training for a run on July. And aside from the runner's high it gives me, it has been showing me sights that I don’t usually see on a usual fast-paced straight-ahead focused day.  The sky and antennas in the park where I usually run. I have been a complainer and have been easily angered in thoughts, make-faces, words and even actions. And that is because I am not filled with the Holy Spirit because again I am not embracing the presence of the Lord in ...

A Motorcycle Accident

2017 opened for me as striped as my dress, my aunt's dress that we bought together haha. The end of 2016 for me was not as good as I want it to happen. I wanted a smooth-sailing 2016 to go to 2017 seamlessly. But, family and finances struck down. My mom was sick on Christmas Eve, lots to be sold were postponed, bills coming, tenant not obeying our rules and on January 1, a motorcycle fast-approaching hit our side mirror and he fell and bruised his face. We will all face sad moments but how we handle it is what matters because at the end of the day, were you pruned and molded to be more Christ-like? This 2017, I want to be predictably joyful but circumstances like the things I mentioned above will really get into you if you allow it to. So, what should be our faint-heartedness-buster? His Word. His Love. His Spirit in us. And we can live this life for Him because this isn't ours anymore, but His. Above all, this earth is temporary but Jesus is permanent. So, what d...

Adulting

Being a 23-year old woman who wants to follow Jesus and glorify Him in everything, is both a joy and a fear. I know that the Lord loves me and is in control of all things and just wants what's best for me and at the same time fearful of what the future holds. I am fearful that I might not like the person that He would want for me. But, I trust the Lord that what He wants glorifies Him but there is that thin line that is hard for me to surrender. The thought that I would not get along with the husband that He has for me. But, trusting Him that He is the best match-maker. I just have to look back at his track record. My mission is to glorify God and so, if that is who God wants, that is what will glorify Him and that is where He can maximize me. As I went full-time in the ministry, I have the desire to serve Him but I am afraid of a shadow mission to be prideful and by God's grace, He allowed me to serve Him with the right motives and now enjoying serving Him but in marrying...

Jesus is the One

Yes, LORD, I admit that I've committed adultery and consequences, I cannot escape. I am an adulteress. I committed myself to Jesus yet, I am loving another and not loving God with my all. I am so distracted with the things of this world-- how much you have, how deep your bank account is, how are your investments rolling, how good looking you are, how are you doing in climbing up the career ladder as you prepare for the future but I haven't considered how much Jesus loves me so that He would lead me to His good, acceptable and perfect will which is the best. Have I fully understood the Lord's goodness? No. That is why I am agit and legit worried about the future because I haven't trusted in who He is. I was reminded by a mission trip where everybody was diving into the sea and I am not. My teammates said they will throw me the salbabida and so I trusted them that they would give it when I appear from the water. They gave it and I am alive now. How hurtful it is when...
